Nina Rinaudo

Nina Rinaudo

Nina began her dance training at the age of 3 at Carol Anglin Dance Center. During her 11 years with Carol Anglin, she was a member of Louisiana Dance Theatre and received training from guest artists and
choreographers Diane Maroney-Grisby, Ceyhun Ozsoy,
Gennadi Vostrikov, Christopher Huggins, Jon Lehrer,
along with many others. Nina performed various roles in Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker and attended Regional Dance America Festival in Dallas.
In 2009, Nina chose to continue her dance study at Shreveport Dance Academy, under the instruction of Kendra Meiki. As a member of Shreveport Metropolitan for 4 years, she performed as Principal Dancer from 2011-2013 dancing such roles as Snow Queen in the Nutcracker and the Princess in Firebird. From 2010-2012 she was a member of SDA’s Senior Jazz Ensemble Endeavor Dance, under the instruction of Elizabeth Ardoin, where she trained and competed at New York City Dance Alliance, Dance Magic and Adrenaline.

Nina has attended International Ballet Competition in Jackson, MS, Texas Ballet Theater’s intensive, The Hartt School summer intensive in Hartford, CT and Lehrer Dance’s intensive in Buffalo, NY. In 2013, she competed in the Youth American Grand Prix competition in Chichago, IL. After graduating Caddo Magnet High in 2013, Nina attended Belhaven University in Jackson, MS on a dance scholarship. From there she completed her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with honors at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2017. She is currently pursuing her second degree in nursing. Nona enjoys being back in Shreveport Dance Academy and being a part of the younger student’s dance experience.
