COLLEGE PREP DANCE CLASS
College dance programs have increased in both intensity and required skill ability tremendously over the last 3 years. UDA Nationals and teams like Ohio State, Minnesota, and LSU have brought attention to their programs and opportunity for competitive dancers to continue dancing and competing at an elite level. Because these programs are attracting dancers from across the country, making the team is a highly selective process. We want to prepare our dancers for success in this new realm of college dance. This class will be specifically focused on the technical skills, specialty skills, and other elements that are needed to make a dancer stand out in this process.
The class is designed to be a multi-year pro series intensive for both the dancer and his/her parents. Auditioning for these college programs requires years of planning and communication between the dancer, the family, and the studio. We are here to provide support and guidance throughout the process by preparing the dancer technically, and staying on top of trends and changes in their college dance team audition journey.
